Because Stockport Council has reduced funding for the park maintenance, these workdays contribute more than ever to the beauty of the park - all welcome! They take place on the 2nd Saturday of each month, 11 AM - 3 PM, with refreshments served around 1 PM.
The day was cold and stayed dry up to the magic hour of 4 pm!
With the help of the Stockport Schools Brass Band and the Do Your Thing choir and all brillant neighbours and friends in the Heaons, there was plenty of carols sung out to welcome the festive season.
Mulled wine, mince pies, chestnuts roasting, Santa's Grotto, a festive tombola and beautiful reindeer sculptures and lanterns courtesy the Heatons Art Trail completed a wonderful afternoon.
Thanks to all who came by and supported the Friends of Heaton Moor Park.
