Can you spare an hour an hour or two with our friendly group and make Heaton Moor Park even lovelier? Please come along – even an hour can make a difference.
Join us at the gardener’s shed (just inside the entrance from Buckingham Road, postcode SK4 4RG). Snacks and water available! All welcome. Under 16’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian – it can be a great family activity. Tools, gloves and goggles (as required) are provided, although some prefer to bring their own gloves and hand tools, and flask with a hot drink if the weather is cold.
Garden in the Park takes place usually every 3rd Saturday of the month except for December or unless an Event (such as the Easter Egg Hunt) is already in the diary.

Join us at the gardener’s shed (just inside the entrance from Buckingham Road, postcode SK4 4RG). Snacks and water available! All welcome. Under 16’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian – it can be a great family activity. Tools, gloves and goggles (as required) are provided, although some prefer to bring their own gloves and hand tools, and flask with a hot drink if the weather is cold.
Garden in the Park takes place usually every 3rd Saturday of the month except for December or unless an Event (such as the Easter Egg Hunt) is already in the diary.

Can you spare an hour an hour or two with our friendly group and make Heaton Moor Park even lovelier? Please come along – even an hour can make a difference.
Join us at the gardener’s shed (just inside the entrance from Buckingham Road, postcode SK4 4RG). Snacks and water available! All welcome. Under 16’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian – it can be a great family activity. Tools, gloves and goggles (as required) are provided, although some prefer to bring their own gloves and hand tools, and flask with a hot drink if the weather is cold.
Garden in the Park takes place usually every 3rd Saturday of the month except for December or unless an Event (such as the Easter Egg Hunt) is already in the diary.

After about 30 minutes of walking through the different park paths, we return to the Moor Club where tea, coffee and other beverages can be purchased.
It’s a great way to get some after lunch exercise and meet others. All are welcome.

To join the Reading Friends, simply come along to a meeting held once each month and to talk about any book you have read or tried to read and have found enjoyable/ intriguing/ boring/ other adjective as applicable.
Unlike many book groups, there is need to find/ buy/ finish a particular book, or have discussions about what to read next. Just come along and share any book you have read or are reading.
3rd Thursday of each month.
