At the ‘Garden in the Park Day’ on 17th May, the football field at Heaton Moor Park had a lovely morning of being showered with two tonnes of top dressing! This addition of top dressing is part of the Friends of Heaton Moor Park’s ongoing efforts to improve the football pitch.
These two tonnes were due to the generosity of the Friends of Manchester Road Park and we are very grateful for their kind donation.
The team really put their backs into it with many a wheelbarrow, sprinkling the dressing and brushing it in.
