Halloween and all the trimmings came to the Park this past Saturday 25th October, managing to find a fairly calm and dry time in these wet and windy autumn days. Many thanks to all of the community who came along and special thanks to all the team of volunteers who put it together.
The Owls were dotted around the park spelling out a special Halloween word for the Trail.
Kids in amazing costumes played Roll-A-Penny, Scary Tin Pan Alley, Pirate Hoops and Toilet Roll Tumble. Somehow throwing things is a very satisfying pastime.
We had two tombola drums for the Tombola, giving more chances to walk away with one of the many prizes on offer.
The Mummy tried out some new dance moves.
And in the Park Pavilion, a wonderful range of Halloween themed baked goods, plus hot and cold drinks were welcome refreshments.
